What is Zcash?
Zcash is another privacy focused coin like Monero and each present competition for the other. Zcash works on a technology that can be descirbed as zero-knowledge proof constructions. Transactions can still be transparent if you want them to be, or they can use the privacy feature to shield them. It’s important to note that by default transactions are not annonymous, the privacy is an optional feature. Furthermore, the zero-knowledge proof construction technology is new and custom to Zcash so the possibility for unknown vulnerabilities to be exploited is there. This privacy feature also requires you to have 8GB or RAM minimum so this really needs to be solved fist to make it more user friendly.
How Can You Buy Zcash?
Zcash has not yet been widely accepted enough to be listed on any of the major exchanges like Coinbase. You can still purchase Zcash as an Altcoin though via the other avenues listed below. Use your major cryptocurrencies to get Zcash.
