What is Verge?
Verge is a descendant of Bitcoin with major improvements to speed, transaction costs and privacy. As stated on the Verge homepage, Verge is a secure and anonymous cryptocurrency, built with a focus on privacy. Verge also supports a number of different proof-of-work algorithms which puts the mining of Verge on a much more level playing field than Bitcoin. When you conenct to the Verge network you are doing it over TOR (The Onion Router), so if you are familiar with that you will understand the privacy angle. Verge is a competitive coin to Monero and ZCash which are also privacy focused.
How Can You Buy Verge?
Verge has not yet been widely accepted enough to be listed on any of the major exchanges like Coinbase. You can still purchase Verge as an Altcoin though via the other avenues listed below. Use your major cryptocurrencies to get Verge.
