What is Nem?
Nem stands for New Economy Movement and is not content with being just another Altcoin. It is still fairly new and there is no road map but they have set out to develop a smarter and more technologically advanced blockchain. Nem basically just wants to be a better Bitccoin. When it comes to mining it uses a proof-of-importance system vs the proof-of-work system like Bitcoin. This in turn means that the more you have vested in Nem, the more important you are.
How Can You Buy Nem?
Nem has not yet been widely accepted enough to be listed on any of the major exchanges like Coinbase. You can still purchase Nem as an Altcoin though via the other avenues listed below. Use your major cryptocurrencies to get Nem.
