I don't want to preach or anythingÂ
I just see in myself how focused and productive I am when I exercise daily vs when I don't. You will read the same thing from successful people around the World in different fields so I am not alone, I think the problem for most people is finding the time and perhaps the discipline. I wanted to share just a few ways to exercise from home providing you have the discipline to do so. When you think about how important discipline is in trading, you can just consider this practice.
P90X - 3 month program and a great way to build stamina and bulk up muscle.
Insanity - 9 week program and a great way to maximize your cardio and get very lean muscle tone.
Now both of those programs may seem quite extreme to many people but they are both programs that I have done several times each. I find them great in the Winter but when it comes to summer I usually just stick to biking hiking, and swimming. If you need something a little lower impact then I can also recommend another.
Slim in 6 - 6 weeks of lower impact focus on cardio and getting lean.
All of these programs can be found online and performed in the comfort of your own home with little to no equipment. There are plenty of other programs out there and I have a list that I want to try over the coming years so I will report back when I have completed them.
Feel free to post and discuss any 'exercising from home' programs in this thread.

Theo,
Â
Just remembered this fitness topic of some months ago....
Â
And started last week with Focus T25, is in the same area as P90X an Insanity...So should all be well and better in some weeks.
But if you ask me today:
- muscle pain
- difficult walking
- but also a smile ....
Â
So on my way to a beachbody
Cheers and keep the pips floating.

It's an older topic but i'm new here so...:-)
I agree on the benefits of exercising regularly. This is what keeps me active and teaches me discipline. At home i have a rowing machine. In the morning when i wake up the first thing i do is some exercise on that. Benefits of rowing is no injuries because of the cyclic movements. Sometimes i have to force myself to do that, so training discipline as well.
Besides that i practice aikido. I did that years ago already but rediscovered it after having therapies for my neck problems (a bit worn out because of age and work, 50+ office slave...). It's good for my body and mind.
Â
Most important for me is that i like these forms of exercise. I've practiced different forms of exercise in my life but only if i like it (and am able fysically) i can keep doing it for a longer time.
Â
Oh and no beach body for me 😉
