@theo

i got the margingale thing a bit wrong..... i was doing my lotsize double everytime instead of adding 2%..... but double looks like insane amounts of % in a week if you start with 5 euro... 5,10,20,40,80,160,320,640,1280,2560...... for only 5 buks risk  moneylove

what is your thought on this?? i guess it's: dream on cool

I don't quite understand what you mean / how you are viewing the martingale? .. It is a tool to eliminate loss if you have a track record of never loosing too many in a row.. the risk will be far greater than 5 bucks!

ok forget the martingale thing... what i thought is just taking 5 euro out of a 1000 bucks account and make it into 10 euro's then take your 10 bucks profit and turn it into 20 and take that profit to make 40... and so on! so you just risk 5 buck's out of a 1000 euro account.... if you loose it's over and you start over again with 5 bucks... hope thats more clear.

OK, now I get you ...  so compounding profits .. needing to win as many in a row as possible...

something you could do after you meet your weekly quota with any extra profits wink

Hi guys, am writing here as most of you follow this topic. I have a problem - if someone can help. I got "Network Virtual Protocol Update " error message yesterday. Now I cannot use short keys and also my screen is constantly switching between  VPN and desktop taskbar in flashing mode. My Avira does not detect virus.. Using Windows 7 on a laptop. What do you think? Thanks 🙂

Could be an update that's not going right.Do you use the standar RDP client?

By the way did it happen just like that or was anything changed, like installing update,application,settings?

Maybe you could temporarily disable the .exe in the Task Manager to see what happens. And also export registry and backup the files before running a repair. Sometimes running Windows update can fix things too. And the suggestion from Theo as a workaround as long as the problem exists?

standard grey turning purple or continuing purple in this case with some room to go untill we are at a good level to look for a long trade. just a little under a 1:3 RR.

Would it be an advantage if the trade manager don't close the trade immediately by hitting the TP-level but wait for the first coming 3-bar? Your trade with the late entry could have much more profit when the trade manager would wait to close the trade at the first 3-bar upwards.

@Theo, is this possible?

A nice thought for an addition, I would have this as something you could switch on or off though as I don't think everyone would want it always on. I will mention this to our programmer once we are done with The One EA

Hi just wondering if i could get some clarification on a couple of things please. sorry for the silly questions but i am not only learning trading but also learning computers, so i have a long way togo.

Firstly. level 1 & level 2 triggers, i have searched the forum but was not successful in finding an explanation i could understand. i have attached the explanation from training videos perhaps someone could expand on the explination.

secondly . obstacles, i get when you look left there are some peaks that are obstacles, but in most videos there are obstacles in-between peaks... i think , how do i identify these obstacles is it just support / resistance tacking into account the wicks of the candles.

thanks
