most of the time they give you a demo for a month and then if you take a life account you can keep the demo 4 eva :)  

 

they told me that too, except they give you a demo account for as long as you are using it regularly for free. had my paper account for over 2 years now. anyway, i had to send in pics of my id, cc and a recent bill, now it's telling me it might be 2 business days before the account is activated for live trading. i intend to keep a journal of every trade. i will start rating my trades from 1 to 10 when i open them and again when it's closed, i will not used a lpt. i will not close early. i will only open trades that follow all the rules. no break outs, only 3 point tuerns when perfect location and continuations. will only risk 5 or 10  bucks per trade.

 

btw what does it mean 3.50 commission for a lot? does that mean for every trade? i  chose true ecn account not standard was that wrong? how much leverage should i use?

ok thanks, i thought it must be  per contract not per trade. would be hard to make progress if a 0.01 trade had a 3.50 commission lol.

 

anyway they sent an email saying my cc was accepted, and why not fund the account, but on their site is still won't let me. i did get a message saying it might take 2 business days to activate the account. can't wait now to get started with live trading. i think i will set up fresh mt4s for my new account. can i just copy paste the histories from my demo account to the live one i wonder? i must have more then 7 years of history now.

looks like it went to hell.

 

so my account is already active. went quick. now i just have to make the history files for eu and gu and then set up another 2 meta traders, 1 for au and ej and 1 for gold and uj. can't trade gold or the s&p for now as the minimum positions are too big for learner trades.

 

has anyone ever run 8 meta traders at one time? thats if i have both demo accounts and the live account open together lol.
