today i didnt have time to trade, only 10 mins before heading out. so i set and forget a sell on the EJ. nice to see it made the target when i got home.

got a BE witch was a good one 🙂 missed the next trade and a nice win on the EU... this friday made made my week pretty good after starting with 3 losses on monday 🙂

so i did a short vid of a few trades during back testing. i can only do 15 min vids on youtube, so the beginning of the session is not included. just thought it be fun to have some of these trades and the reasons explained. i was actually just experimenting with how to even make screen cast vids.

as you can see they didnt work out, lol. those are coin toss trades. the video of those trades is 23 mins long and youtube won't allow
me to upload it. so here is that part of the back testing session. when i look at it, i know what i was thinking
for the first loss you mentioned i was thinking it reached the previous area, a kind of mirror flip. when it lost but then headed down i though, ah now it's reacting and turning. but yeah, these are not proper efx wave entries. i might make another vid today, it's kind of fun.

ok, i did another video, only space for a couple of trades, interestingly both were ghost or split double tap patterns. not my favorite, but there is a reason why Theo included them in the Lesson plan, they do work at higher then 50/50 probability.

if you go long on the EU you can't go long on the UJ..... thats selling and buying dollars at the same time.... one of them will always lose....
im still in that EU trade..... BE was a good choice i think 😉

Thanks Sjoerd. I understand your point. I actually took the EU buy 34 minutes after the EJ buy. Buy this time I had taken the loss on the EJ which was headed downwards, ie dollar weakness, so I though the EU buy would be ok.
Wish I'd held on to EU now - easily hit 1:2 target. Grrr!

One question: when do you use TM to enter and when do you just do an instant entry using Depth of Market?

just set and forget it peter. looking at things often leads to bad decisions... you know your SL/TP up front and thats all you need.
about the TM... i had some problems with slow entry's at IC markets but now they put me on a new server (or something) and it's all good again. so now i can use the TM without any problems or delay in my case.

o and trading from my phone happens with the in dep market thing because dragging lines on your phone is a paine in the *ss to do 😉

I also find very useful to listen to all Theo's analyses even several times, so that I just start see situations without thinking a lot... I hope I will be successful soon.

Thanks for you post. I'm trading since 1,5 year. At this moment I'm trading around break even. I have problems with patience and time. When I look at my charts I have to place a trade. I'm really unsatisfied when closing my charts without placing an order. And then I take to much risk. Further I'm struggling with location.
What about Theo's theories: I love it. It's very clear! I'd like to see pictures of moments that we traders decide to place orders. All the pictures I see (and place them by myself too) are taken afterwards. I think it's very educational to see others decision moments. Can you post one for me sometime?
This afternoon I'm gonna check the templates you're talking about.

edited to add: i made a video on my US open trades, au reached target and ej is still running. i'm editing all the parts together on youtube now, hope it works.

not sure if the video editing is working, so i made a play list of all my updates to these trades so far. have to say the ej is not looking good, but we will see. looks like i was able to put all the parts together to turn 13 parts into 2 videos. here is the first part. the second and ending is still being processed on youtube.

i do have a GU sell open, it went to the lpt so it might end up a break even. if yest i will have had a BE day, if it goes to tp i will be 2 trades up for the day.
