nice work Rob, i had some stuff to do so wasn't able to do any more trading today. i was just thinking about your comment regarding the non trending price action. i basically will change my way of choosing trades when the price is moving sideways. i start looking at trying to buy at the bottom of the range and sell at the top. rather then trying to follow the trend or trade breakout

 

if the market is trending, then i follow the normal rules. look to follow trend and trade break outs. this seems to be working quite well recently and allows me to trade even when the price action is ranging. i still use the triggers of course, it just changes where i^m looking for them.

i'm just about managing to move my account up a few bucks a day, then i do some stupid wishful thinking trade and give a couple of days worth back in 1 go. but  i am seeing that my over all entries are getting much better. now i'm having to train  trade management.

 

maybe you should consider going back to demo to fine tune things a bit for a while, and or prove a strategy to yourself back testing then just take those trades. Sjoerd was telling me just today to only choose a couple of types of trade. ie the ones that work the most, probably continuation trades. i noticed thats mostly what he trades.
