Yes, MT4 decided to change things but it is not too difficult to sort out.

Open up your MT4 up and just as you would go File>New Chart.....  go to "File>Open Data Folder" instead.

This will open up the real location of where MT4 looks for your custom files.

You will need to copy and paste the MQL4 and templates folders from where you see the files (where you are used to finding them) and put them in this new location instead.

Make sure you close MT4 when you are doing the copying and pasting.

PS. The videos and eBook will be updated once MT4 stops fixing all the bugs of this new release and things have settled.

a few days ago my mt4 self-updated to build 625 from a sub 600 build so when i came to install the free files i used the 600 exe self installing files....if i go to the program files in the c drive i can see these files so they have installed....however i cannot see them in the navigator when i open the program.....if i go to charts, template, load template i can add the atm free template to the default chart.....ive followed the instructions to the "t" so can anybody tell me what error ive made as ive spent several hours reading the documentation and looking the video but i cannot see where ive gone wrong.....
